One of my favorite spots to get coffee beans from. Cozy vibes, delicious coffee, and friendly staff. The adjacent room is a small cozy space that’s great for people to read their books, get some work done, talk with whoever they may have come here with, or just to sit and enjoy your coffee alone while looking out the window. The two spots for sitting outside are excellent to enjoy during warmer weather, and allows for some people watching, which is always entertaining.

We visited (again) here on our most recent visit to Philadelphia from England. Great coffee and baked goods, friendly staff. Highly recommend the Mocha Latte!

Honestly, one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to. Old City Coffee clearly cares about quality. The beans taste fresh and rich, and you can tell they are using high quality ingredients in every cup. The coffee is smooth, well balanced, and not overly bitter like a lot of places.

Loved the XL coffee I got yesterday at the Reading Terminal. I had to come check out this location down Church Street. Bring your laptop to come chill using their free Hot Spot and enjoy a cup of EXTREMELY HOT Delicious coffee. Plenty of tables and chairs. Even a nice restroom patrons can use. This time we decided to get some treats! A Raisin walnut muffin, cheddar scallion scone and a cream cheese bagel. All were very tasty but the scone and muffin were a little dry. But overall the prices are Excellent for Old City Philadelphia!! A bonus is that it opens at 7am and has a self kiosk to put in your own order!

Old City coffee is one of the most charming cafes in the city. Tucked onto a small cobblestone street in old city, the ambiance is immediately lovely. Charming historic details mix with thoughtfully chosen art work and decor. Everything is made in house, from coffee roasted right up the street to the delicious baked goods hot from the oven every morning (the butterscotch muffins and chocolate chip cookies are a must!!). The staff is always so bright and kind. Some staff members have been there for many many years and it shows in how deeply they care for their customers and the shop itself. It’s an “everybody knows your name” kind of place and I look forward to warm smiles every time I go in. Lastly, if you’re a decaf drinker - they have the best, freshest decaf iced coffee around. Thanks old city!!

Old City Coffee on historic Church Street is my favorite place to get coffee, and a fixture in the Old City neighborhood. I walk past many other coffee shops, closer to my home, on my way to Old City Coffee. My favorites are the mocha latte and the chai latte, either hot or iced they are delicious both ways. I have tried these beverages at other coffee shops, but none come close to what I get at Old City Coffee. The fact that they make their syrups in house, and brew the chai from scratch really sets them apart from others. The staff is always friendly, and the location on the charming side street just adds to the reasons I love this place.

A nice and quiet coffee shop tucked away in the old city neighbourhood of Philly. They roast their own coffee and have a nice selection to choose from. I would recommend stopping by.

I've been to one of their stalls in Readung Terminal but today I stopped at their historic location in Old City. Walking in, I immediately liked the vibes. It's cute and cozy - and the staff were friendly. I ordered a cheese croissant and a lavender latte - both were delicious! If you're in the area and need a treat, I highly recommend stopping ❤️

Its my first time in Philly. And despite how glaringly obvious that probably seemed, and despite being incoherent and sweaty from the heat, the baristas were so kind and helpful and quick! Not to mention how great and refreshing the coffee was (I got an iced lavender latte) and the food, too (everything bagel with scallion cream cheese). It was delicious, and the shop itself is so cozy but also so aesthetic. I came here middle of a day during the week, and the place wasn't empty, but it wasn't super packed either. The perfect coffee shop vibes! I can't wait to come back with my husband and show him this place when we visit Philly together for vacation someday.
